I have more than 30 years of business experience in enterprise sales leadership and as a sole contributor. The roles I have had have involved developing new geographies and verticals with leading edge technology delivering business advantage.
The challenges involved in getting the first 10 and then 10-100 customers have not changed, the approach and way to achieve them have!
Since 1981 when 1GB of hardware storage cost £1million with no mobile phones or internet to the current social and digital world I have been involved with enterprise technology.
Being part of some great companies large and small; early stage through to mature businesses, I have been able to connect with like-minded individuals who have been colleagues as well as customers and have made life friends during this journey.
The mobile telecoms sector became a focus for me in the mid 1990's as it expanded exponentially with its need for new and innovative technology to attract and retain valuable business and consumer customers
Stage 4 cancer; being tied-up and gun point and missing quota (once) have also been part of my business journey.
Married 31 years, have 2 children now aged 26 and 23 and a Jack Russell. Lived in London since leaving Birmingham University in 1981 and went to school in Fareham, Hampshire as well as spending 3 years of my schooling in Singapore.
A small property portfolio which will (hopefully) be my pension.
